US Strategic Metals is embarking on an ambitious environmental remediation and manufacturing effort to process clean and ethically produced battery minerals that is bringing back long-term jobs to the Madison County area.

Clayco led site mobilization and Phase I construction efforts for the new US Strategic Metals battery materials processing plant. US Strategic Metals is the operator of the 1,800-acre Madison Mine in Fredericktown, Missouri located 90 miles south of St. Louis. US Strategic Metals contends the Madison Mine is likely the largest reserve in North America of cobalt.
