Rivian EV Manufacturing Plant

Rivian’s new 1,800-acre manufacturing campus at Stanton Springs, Georgia, represents a significant investment in the future of American electric vehicle production and advanced manufacturing. The eco-conscious facility is slated to be operational by 2028 and is expected to create approximately 7,500 employment opportunities, demonstrating Rivian’s commitment to both the local and national economies.

CJ Adventures, a joint venture between Clayco and JE Dunn, brings together the advanced manufacturing expertise to support Rivian’s vision for the campus. Rivian’s innovative approach to the automotive industry aligns perfectly with CJ Adventures’ ethos of embracing groundbreaking ideas and solutions. We envision this endeavor as the beginning of a long and mutually beneficial partnership where our collective strengths will drive success.

Designed with sustainability, innovation, and long-term growth in mind, the facility will include specialized manufacturing and support spaces for stamping, body operations, paint, general assembly, battery and drive unit production, a central utility plant, wastewater treatment, offices, a main entry building, and additional supporting infrastructure.

Delivering a project of this scale requires close collaboration across the entire team. CJ Adventures is working alongside Rivian and its project partners to coordinate the complex infrastructure, manufacturing environments, and building systems necessary to bring the campus to life.

AEI is serving as engineer of record, with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) as design architect. CJ Adventures and LJC are also delivering the Paint Shop and Civil scopes through a design-build approach.
