Sundaram Clayton Limited

The first automotive components manufacturing facility in America for the India-based company.

Sundaram Clayton Limited (SCL) is part of the TVS Group, one of India’s largest auto components manufacturing and distribution groups. SCL is a leading supplier of aluminum die castings to the automotive and non-automotive sectors. Located on a site at the Ridgeville Industrial Campus in Summerville, South Carolina, this aluminum casting facility manufactures components for the automotive sector. SCL engaged LJC and Clayco to design and construct their first manufacturing facility in the United States.

Strategically located at the intersection of US 78 & SC 27, the industrial campus and new facility provide tenants access to broader mobility throughout the region. The manufacturing facility was the first built building on the campus; the site is planned for three structures in total.
