Breaking ground in October 2024, the Kali Hotel showcases Clayco and LJC’s integrated design-build approach. Initially launched by another design firm as a traditional bid-build project, the project evolved as market conditions shifted. Clayco and LJC were brought in to optimize both design and functionality, delivering a hotel that balances efficiency with aesthetic appeal.
Situated in the heart of Hollywood Park, a 298-acre entertainment district in Los Angeles, The Kali Hotel is The KPC Group’s and Dr. Kali Pradip Chaudhuri’s contribution to the area. It offers stunning views of Lake Park with SoFi Stadium and YouTube Theater in the background, and is within walking distance to both the Intuit Dome and Kia Arena.
The hotel’s design merges the iconic architecture and cultural heritage of Los Angeles with a modern touch, paying homage to the city’s storied past while embracing 21st-century innovation. This blend creates a fresh interpretation of Los Angeles’ unique identity, making the project both timeless and forward-thinking. With cascading suites that form a distinctive silhouette and a base that opens as a gateway to Hollywood Park, the hotel is designed to shape a unique skyline. Guests will have access to luxury amenities, including a spa, pool deck, and rooftop lounge, all seamlessly blending comfort with the vibrant energy and glamour of Los Angeles, offering an immersive connection to the city’s iconic lifestyle.
