Drive Capital

Drive Capital, a venture capital firm, expanded its offices to the Fulton Market neighborhood in Chicago. The firm selected LJC to design its office to support the burgeoning company in a unique and collaborative way.

The final design blends natural materials and curved structures that highlight the organic form of the space. Guest and employees are welcomed to a  curved, textured wood-feature wall that flows from the reception area to a tiered seating element that grounds the main gathering space. The main space features a cafe and various seating options that offer additional collaboration opportunities. The main program features multiple meeting rooms that vary in size and setting to provide additional flexibility and choice. Ample phone rooms are located adjacent to the open workspace for privacy.  

This newly designed office fosters a welcoming and collaborative environment that is centered around the firm’s mission.
