Cresa Global Office Project | Lamar Johnson Collaborative (LJC)

Cresa Chicago has relocated their offices to the Fulton Market district to take advantage of the dynamic neighborhood. LJC was tasked with creating a space to demonstrate alternate work styles for a post-pandemic office while highlighting the Cresa brand. Driven by the neighborhood’s nightlife and access to world-class building amenities, LJC created a strikingly bespoke space.

This new environment celebrates work and hospitality by blending the comforts of home with traditional workspaces. Upon arrival, employees and guests are welcomed with a hospitable reception bar and living space. Rich, contrasting tones and textures accented by intentional decorative and ambient lighting contextualize a respite away from the bustling city.

The continued idea of a relaxed workplace carries into the open office. Neighborhoods of desks offer employees a traditional workplace juxtaposed by informal collaborative lounges. This allows for the comforts and flexibility of home while meeting and phone rooms generously located throughout the office provide privacy.
