Dow XPS Manufacturing Facility

Dow Chemical Company’s manufacturing facility produces extruded polystyrene (XPS) insulation.

LJC and Clayco performed design-build services for this manufacturing facility producing extruded polystyrene (XPS) insulation for The DOW Chemical Company. The building construction included 6” unreinforced slab-on-grade, conventional structural steel framing and bar joist roof structure, insulated metal panel walls, and mechanically fastened 60 mil TPO roof with R-20 insulation.

The Dow XPS project also includes a guardhouse, full perimeter fencing, and an outdoor product storage yard.
