A PET blow-molding plant for Amcor, one of the world’s largest packaging companies offering the highest standards in innovative packaging solutions.

This global leader in responsible packaging solutions chose Lamar Johnson Collaborative to design their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility which is Amcor’s center of operations for supply of plastic bottles to PepsiCo for Gatorade packaging. The building provides 141,000 square feet of processing area for plastic injection and blow molding. The balance of the plant provides storage space for finished goods and a 41,000-square-foot machine house. An office area of 13,700 square feet provides space for plant management and business activity.

The Wytheville facility provided the owner with virtual on-site supply to their main customer, PepsiCo, as the new building was connected to the Pepsi bottling plant with an enclosed link. This solution saved the owner significant transportation costs.
