AHEAD’s Chicago office at 444 West Lake is a strategic rebranding effort designed to enhance client engagement and reinforce the company’s identity as a tech industry leader. Tasked with transforming an inherited space, LJC focused on finishes, experiential design, and brand integration—preserving much of the existing architecture while redefining the interiors to reflect AHEAD’s culture and vision.
Key features include a hospitality-inspired lobby, a multifunctional conference center, and an interactive golf simulator—each space designed to elevate the user experience and leave a lasting impression on clients, partners, and employees alike. The design palette incorporates modern textures and subtle branding cues that mirror AHEAD’s innovation-forward ethos. Beyond aesthetics, this project serves as a scalable design prototype for AHEAD’s national office portfolio.
LJC’s role as design architect highlights our expertise in adaptive reuse, branded environments, and high-performance workplace strategy. The success of 444 West Lake has since led to continued collaborations with AHEAD across multiple locations.
