A showroom showcasing both the beauty of its products and its cutting-edge technology.

Sloan wanted to create a showroom about hospitality, learning (product & sustainability), and collaboration. So, the design team developed a flexible space and display that minimizes their physical footprint while maximizing Sloan’s substantial product offering. All while weaving Sloan’s primary mission for conservation, efficiency, and quality.

The team designed the space to host various visitors and users, from the architectural/design industry to engineers and developers to end-users. As a result, the showroom shows both the beauty of its products and its cutting-edge technology.

In addition, this space is Sloan’s new downtown office. It’s the home base and choice for their staff to work in their North Chicago headquarters or the heart of the city. In addition, the workspace provides a working environment for out-of-state sales and marketing teams enabling them to host clients and training events for the A&D community.

Our project team worked closely with Sloan’s marketing and product team to understand both product offering goals and company philosophy. The result is a ‘working showroom’ curated to enable active interaction with the product and enables Sloan to develop innovative solutions with their project partners.

Sustainability and Wellness are ingrained in Sloan’s business, from the lifecycle and efficiency of their products to their research and development to produce the restroom of the future featuring touchless technologies. Therefore, having the project be LEED Silver and WELL Gold certified was a priority. In addition, the showroom is a space where all visitors can learn how Sloan products can help them reduce their water consumption and design the overall bathroom experience with Wellness and hygiene in mind.

The flexible conference room has walls that can open to the showroom, allowing Sloan to host various continuing education classes, internal training and development programs, and community and philanthropic events.
