Vivid Seats

Vivid Seats, a leading online ticket marketplace, relocated their corporate headquarters at 24 E. Washington Street in the historic Marshall Field’s building now occupied by Macy’s. The company was looking to create a new identity for the organization, celebrate the brand, and bring employees back into the office. LJC designed a lively social space that balances amenity comforts with open and closed workspaces.

Lively branded lights double as wayfinding, guiding employees and guests to the branded reception desk with a large logo for signature social media posts. Vibrant, vivid colors define the energetic space that features a modern design, collaborative rooms, fully integrated technology, and a café that doubles as a concert venue/space with a large display screen and stage for performances.

To support the company’s scaled workforce with a hybrid work model, the design team spent time discovering each department’s needs and how best to suit their needs as they return to the office. The LJC team created a floor plan that simplified circulation to manage the large floor plan, used branding and layering to define the atrium and other large open spaces, and incorporated multiple communal programmatic items into the central communal space.
