Skye Tempe

Situated adjacent to the Arizona State University Campus, Skye Tempe commands a prime corner location with excellent visibility while harmonizing with the increasingly dense urban environment that surrounds it.  The project prioritizes active-use ground floor programming and promotes walkability through thoughtfully designed storefronts and streetscape.  Skye Tempe deploys strategic design principles to optimize program, amenity spaces and building systems.

The project’s massing creates a tall, slender tower that anchors the street corner and is crowned with indoor amenity spaces.  Vertical bronze pilasters run from ground to sky, bridging the programmatic transition between retail, parking podium and residential levels.  To break up the length of the north/south façade, a ‘tail’ portion of the tower is setback from the street edge and is capped by outdoor amenity spaces.  

The dwelling units offer a variety of options, including Studios, Open 1 Bedrooms, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom units, plus nine penthouse units.
