Positioning an academic medical center for enhanced delivery of outpatient and cancer care.
Orange Regional Medical Center commissioned Lamar Johnson Collaborative to master plan their campus anticipating the future needs of their community. The outcome is the design of two separate adjacent projects, an outpatient care center and cancer center expansion. Both buildings are patient-centered healing environments incorporating advanced technology and amenities for patients and families.
Attached to the adjacent existing hospital the Ambulatory Surgery and Outpatient Care Center incorporates two floors of outpatient diagnostic and treatment services including an Outpatient Imaging and an Ambulatory Surgery Center. Three upper floors organize physician provider suites within an academic clinic model to leverage operational and space efficiencies in support of ORMC’s new hospital employed physician practice.
