Horizon Therapeutics Project | Lamar Johnson Collaborative (LJC)

Lamar Johnson Collaborative (LJC) fully re-imagined the former worldwide headquarters of a leading pharmaceutical company into Horizon Therapeutics North American Headquarters. The campus project is composed of three main buildings totaling 670,000 SF.

Horizon Therapeutics and LJC partnered to create a unified campus facility for Horizon employees. The entire campus integrates ease of employee collaboration and teaming while providing flexibility for departmental headcount growth while maintaining all critical segment adjacencies. Each of the three buildings is connected by a single, continuous ground-floor concourse section composed of conferencing, teaming, and learning spaces. These spaces further emphasize and promote a way of doing business inherent to Horizon’s business brand and culture. These interior amenity spaces include a “Starbucks Style” coffee barista, full food server / café, VIP meeting lounge, Tech Pub for staff, marketing/photography green room, shared multi-purpose spaces, game lounge, and bowling alley.

The campus is truly designed as a destination, creating a campus and workplace environment that allows Horizon to attract and retain the “best and brightest” talent. Interior amenities are coupled with exterior amenities that include a Daycare Facility, Bocce Ball court, Employee Garden, Softball Field, Basketball Court, and a 1-mile Nature Trail.
