New centralized global corporate headquarters strategically planned and designed to prioritize its people, brand, and values.
This client consolidated 17 individual offices to create a global headquarters and relocated into a three-story trefoil-shaped building. LJC’s workplace strategy team applied a cutting-edge approach to this project, best described as workplace diagnostics, and included providing vision identification, facility planning, and comprehensive design solutions. The team actively partnered with leadership to discover and develop a robust environment for creativity and productivity that fully reflects the presence of a global headquarters.
The three-winged property required clever design in planning and wayfinding to ensure convenient access to amenities like pantries, cafés, treadmill stations, and expansive views. An engaging first-floor lobby showcases the surrounding landscape while serving as an enticing entry space for current team members, visitors, and future talent.
Reflecting the client’s commitment to an egalitarian environment, the building contains a minimal number of private offices, maximizes workstations, and offers conferencing, focus, and collaborative spaces in multiple sizes throughout the entire building. The final design considers everything from collaborative workflows to ergonomic furniture. It speaks to spatial size consistencies, convenient access to amenities, and seamless technology integration.
