Garnet Health Parking Garage | Lamar Johnson Collaborative (LJC)

Garnet Health Medical Center commissioned LJC to master plan their campus, anticipating future growth and community needs. This 3-level, open parking garage includes electric vehicle charging stations for physicians and staff. An enclosed ambulance drop-off area is embedded in the garage and directly connected to a future emergency department expansion—an enclosed pedestrian walkway bridges over a service yard and links to the heart of the existing hospital. A covered portion of the garage has been equipped with the necessary components to quickly convert into a mass casualty incident treatment area as a post-pandemic solution.
