Edge@West is a new Class-A innovative office building in Creve Coeur, MO.
Building off the successful delivery of this facility’s sister building, Edge@BRDG, and continuing with the established brand, Clayco and LJC hit the ground running to design and build this 125,000 SF building in 11 months. Located in Creve Coeur, MO, the offices’ proximity to the site and the team’s attention to this project through every phase were critical to delivering on time.
This project utilized the complete design-build expertise of Clayco and integrated practice of LJC and engaged our self-perform concrete resources, Concrete Strategies. The 4-story tilt-up design includes various panel details that take Tilt-Up architecture to the next level while still incorporating curtainwalls at the critical locations within the building for an iconic aesthetic within the district.
Flexibility did not end with the building plan. Construction began at the height of COVID, which required agility from the design-build team to incorporate health safety measures. All high traffic zones have touchless, secure entry. Every major “touch” surface has antimicrobial properties, shields, and an upgraded HVAC system to enhance air quality and circulation. Even with these changes, the project remained on schedule and budget, with tenant experience and wellness the project’s focus.
