LJC completed a concept study for this sports-themed, high-rise hotel, conference center, and luxury condos. The concept envisions a unique destination that celebrates the rich sports culture for which the University of Michigan and Ann Arbor are known. LJC’s vision was to design a contemporary and visually striking high-rise hotel and conference center that seamlessly blends into the downtown landscape.

The concept for the high-rise structure shows off sleek and modern design elements that pay homage to the local sports scene. Intricate façade treatments will showcase iconic sports imagery, while unique architectural features will represent the athleticism and competitiveness associated with sports. 

One of the key highlights of the concept is the inclusion of luxury condos within the development. These condos will offer unparalleled views of downtown Ann Arbor, providing residents an exclusive experience. The design of the condos will prioritize comfort, elegance, and functionality, ensuring that they become desirable homes for individuals who appreciate the city’s energy and culture.

The design also carefully considers the pedestrian experience and community engagement. The ground floor includes vibrant, sports-themed retail spaces, that would create a unique shopping experience for both residents and visitors. Outdoor gathering areas, landscaped green spaces, and recreational facilities offer opportunities for social interaction, fostering a sense of community within the development.
