Centene Garage

Minimizing the impact of a large parking structure by activating the streetscape.

Located in downtown Clayton, Missouri, the Centene Garage provides 2,000+ spaces of office and public parking along with 20,000 SF of Class-A retail space. At street level, the design of the double- height retail space buffers and reduces the scale of the structure to provide a pedestrian streetscape that wraps around and activates the sidewalk along Forsyth Street and Centene Court. The design minimizes the impact of a large parking structure, while responding to and reflecting the upmarket context of the immediate district and adjacent businesses.
