As Executive Architect, LJC worked with Clickspring Design and Asharq News to create a new world-class headquarters with broadcast studios.
Centered in the heart of Dubai’s International Financial Centre is ASHARQ News’ new cutting-edge media facility. Design Architect Clickspring Design and Executive Architect LJC renovated four floors of an existing mid-rise building that now supports high-end offices, briefing rooms, editorial spaces, newsrooms, and an array of areas dedicated to technology infrastructure.
While the broadcast studios exude glossy, futuristic precision, the design team balanced this austere aesthetic with human-centric principles of a thriving work environment. Soft and natural finishes, dimmable lighting, and views of the outdoors are leveraged to enhance social and focus spaces. A floating sculptural spiral stair encourages movement and visual connectivity throughout the four floors. A work café and conferencing suites hug the central stair; it’s the link between the broadcast and office environments.
