Renewal by Andersen

The design of Andersen Windows & Doors’s main entrance is meant to highlight and showcase the core products of the company, using their windows in a new and exciting way. The frame, derived from the company’s logo, creates both an enclosure and a monument at the main entrance corner. The frame is also translated into structures that highlight the employee entrance and outdoor cafe along the facade, unifying the architecture and creating a public-facing expression to bring visual interest and human scale to a large facility. The frame is also an important sun-shading device to complement the large expanses of glass windows along these facades. Additionally, the paint scheme along the perimeter of the building uses the logo’s motif to create visual interest, highlight the brand identity, and break down the monumental scale of the tilt-up walls. Together, these elements create a comprehensive architecture that is uniquely Andersen.
