Hankook Tire Plant Expansion

The facilities will house the production of Hankook’s passenger car (PCR) and truck/bus (TBR) tire production lines. This large-scale project includes site improvement, utility installation and relocations, paving, deep foundations, concrete foundations/slabs and deep equipment pits, multistory structural steel Mixing Building, ASRS mat foundations, IMP exterior, CMU-IMP interior walls, TPO roofing, and misc supporting architectural features.

Systems for the project include special hazard and in-rack fire suppression, domestic plumbing, HVAC, process mechanical distribution piping and equipment (cooling/chilled water, compressed air, steam, etc), industrial electrical distribution, process controls, and fire alarm systems. Other components of the project include large additions to the existing Phase 1 plant, ancillary buildings to support the main plan, rail spur additions, and main entry canopy upgrades.
