First Tee – Harborside

First Tee – Greater Chicago aims to empower kids and teens through the game of golf. After LJC’s resounding success partnering on the First Tee – Waveland project, First Tee – Greater Chicago tapped the team to keep the momentum going with First Tee – Harborside. 

The new undertaking renovates the Youth Learning Center at Harborside International Golf Center with the goal of providing a top-notch facility and learning space for the youth on Chicago’s South Side.

These updates will make the Harborside Center the first and only dedicated indoor First Tee facility on the City’s South Side, allowing for golf instruction enrichment year-round, no matter the season or weather. In addition to a general refresh, the building upgrades include improvements to an existing indoor putting green and feature a state-of-the-art ForeSight Golf Simulator for top-notch hands-on learning.

The indoor learning facility continues the mission of First Tee – Greater Chicago to support kids and teens by creating a new space that is as fun as it is functional to facilitate learning and enrichment. The renovation includes the installation of new flooring, addition of new furniture, and an aesthetic refresh to make the students feel welcome and give them the opportunity to engage with their new space.
