First Tee Harborside Project | Lamar Johnson Collaborative (LJC)

First Tee – Greater Chicago aims to empower kids and teens through golf. Following LJC’s success with their Waveland project, the client partnered with LJC again to maintain the momentum with First Tee – Harborside.

The latest project involved renovating the Youth Learning Center at Harborside International Golf Center, creating a top-notch facility and learning space for youth on Chicago’s South Side.

These updates have made the Harborside Center the first and only dedicated indoor First Tee facility on the City’s South Side, enabling year-round golf instruction regardless of the season or weather. The renovation included new flooring, updated furniture, and refreshed aesthetics to create a welcoming environment that encourages student engagement. Additionally, the upgrades feature improvements to an existing indoor putting green and a state-of-the-art ForeSight Golf Simulator for hands-on learning.

The indoor learning facility continues First Tee – Greater Chicago’s mission of supporting kids and teens by providing a space that is both fun and functional for learning and enrichment.
