Fort Worth’s Near Southside cultural district is a mixed-use, walkable urban neighborhood with a vibrant art and cultural community, boasting some of the city’s most celebrated restaurants and various businesses. Broadway Chapter is new to this neighborhood, a five-story residential multi-family apartment building promoting a pedestrian-oriented urban lifestyle in this burgeoning neighborhood.

CRG partnered with Near Southside’s ArtSouth to select and commission a mural from North Texas artist Eric ‘Drigo’ Rodriguez. Drigo, a native of McKinney, Texas, has been painting for eight years. This 5,000 SF mural titled Cosmic Journey depicts a colorful scene with tropical imagery spanning five massive concrete panels. Drigo prepped the facade by hand — from priming the concrete panels, sketching the large-scale work using a meticulous grid system, and painting the intricate design — using a mechanical lift supplied by CRG.
