Acibadem Beylikduzu Hospital

Designed as a fully integrated, mixed-use medical campus, this large-scale healthcare development supports Acibadem Healthcare Group’s mission to deliver world-class care within a human-centered, community-oriented environment. Located in the rapidly growing Beylikduzu district of Istanbul, the campus brings together advanced clinical facilities, on-site residential accommodations, and public amenities into a cohesive and highly functional setting.

The centerpiece of the 5.9-acre site is an 800,000 SF hospital comprising a diagnostic podium and a nine-story patient tower, supported by four levels of below-grade services and parking. Adjacent to the hospital, a 240,000 SF residential building provides on-site housing for staff and visiting families, with ground-floor retail and café spaces that activate the campus and encourage community interaction. A west-facing outdoor promenade connects the campus to a neighboring park, reinforcing wellness, daylight access, and a strong connection to the surrounding context.

The architectural concept is driven from the inside out, prioritizing patient experience, operational efficiency, and intuitive circulation. Angled massing and a sawtooth façade of alternating stone and glass maximize daylight and views from patient rooms while creating a consistent interior experience. Expressive design elements, including dichroic glass at the entry podium, suspended canopies, and a circular stair, add warmth and identity to the healthcare environment.

Serving as design architect, LJC led the campus master planning, architectural design, and façade strategy through completion of the design phases. The project positions Acibadem Healthcare Group for a flagship medical campus that advances contemporary healthcare design while supporting long-term operational efficiency and community investment.
