Lamar Johnson Collaborative is proud to celebrate a major milestone in its history.
In 1999, Clayco established an in-house architectural firm to enhance services for its expanding client network. This entity was the forerunner to what is now Lamar Johnson Collaborative (LJC).
With a national presence, LJC has created a model for architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, urban planning, sustainability, and engineering that uniquely combines the collective experiences of our talented and diverse staff. We are thinkers who recognize that every design and solution we create must be authentic, effective, strategic, pragmatic, and thoughtful. We are Inspired by Design.
We challenge conventional thinking. We don’t accept the status quo. Instead, we seek to understand the core needs of each assignment. We constantly ask ourselves and our clients, “Why not?” and “What if?” We love the problem, not our solution because, in doing so, we ensure that we are always seeking the very best for our clients. We believe we have a responsibility and obligation to serve the citizens and communities where we live.
